|Edward J. Borey has spent his career building strategic, financial, marketing and general management skills in a series of positions with Global 500 companies and later as COO, CEO, chairman and board member in small- and mid-cap public company environments.
Ed has focused on global companies and has been overall responsible for global operations as well as expatriate assignments in Europe and Asia. Throughout his career Ed has managed product development, sales & marketing, and manufacturing operations in North America, Europe, and Asia. He has also led major outsourcing efforts of hardware and software development, manufacturing, and customer service.
Ed’s ability to work in cross-cultural environments stems from a healthy respect for people and culture married with a commitment to creating high-performing and continuously improving organizations. This requires creating a participative environment to deal with the challenges of strategy, markets, and policy while creating a proactive management and measurement environment to execute day-to-day operations.
Ed has successfully led multiple turnaround initiatives, including growing a company from $300 million to over $800 million revenue, leading a company successfully through a chapter 11 restructuring, bringing two public companies private, acquiring and divesting multiple operations, and consolidating numerous acquired operations.
Ed has a BS in Economics and Political Science, an MA in Public Administration and an MBA in Finance and Accounting.
